Wedding Singer at Mitton Hall, Whalley
Your wedding.This room.Rocking.
Wedding singing, and your whole day hosted. The ultimate Mitton Hall Wedding Party Starter.
Mitton Hall sits at Little Mitton in the Ribble Valley, a few minutes from Whalley and Clitheroe - the heart of Lancashire wedding country, with couples travelling in from across the North West.
Mitton Hall is a fifteenth-century manor house set high above the River Ribble on the edge of Whalley, a few minutes from Clitheroe, with views across the gardens and the river. The Great Hall is the room, as striking now as the day it was built, and with eighteen bedrooms on site the whole wedding stays put. For a Ribble Valley wedding venue it has the lot in one place: the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the party, all under one roof.

Planning a wedding in Lancashire? Every venue I travel to is here.
Real weddings, this room, the place rocking. Yours next.
1. Plan the middle, not just the party. Between the ceremony and the evening there are about three hours. Dinner and speeches don't entertain themselves - decide who's carrying that time before you book anything else.
2. Make the entrances an event. The walk into your wedding breakfast sets the room's energy for the whole afternoon. It should build, not just happen.
3. Give the room something to do together. A room that sings together stays on its feet together. Collective beats spectator, every time.
There's a whole page of this: how to not have a boring wedding.
Straight answers
How long are you with us on the day?
I arrive two or three hours before your ceremony to set up, join your drinks reception, and run your whole daytime: intros, two sets during dinner, speeches, cake. When the day turns into the evening, I pack up and leave you to it.
Do you cover Whalley and the surrounding area?
Easily - I'm Lancashire born and based, and Mitton Hall is a room I've already worked. Home ground.
What if our guests are shy?
Nobody gets singled out and nobody gets pressured. People join in without noticing they've joined in. And sometimes your guests will surprise you.
Please note:
I only take 30 weddings a year. When they're gone, they're gone.

We meet before I take any booking - at my house or online. If we're both in, you book, and a few weeks before the day we sit down again and plan it properly: the key characters, the stories, the music for your intros.
