The act travels

Ibiza, Cyprus, Tuscany, Portugal, and a couple of trips singing in Ireland. A good few years back I fancied finding out if the act travelled. It does.

Travelling light is part of it. The couple usually arrange the sound out there - the speakers and the PA - and I bring my mic, my mixing desk, my voice and the cheeky banter. And an English wedding in a Tuscan garden, the whole place singing together as the sun goes down - some of my best days have happened a long way from home.

Tuscany was also the day John Barnes, father of the groom, shared the mic with me. Days like that stay with you.

So if you're looking for a destination wedding singer who hosts the whole day as well - UK based, and no stranger to an airport - that's me. If your day is abroad, it's travel and expenses on top. Simple as that. And it starts the way every booking of mine starts: with a meeting.
