So excited about this!!

The fabulous Stanley House have asked me to come and perform at their very first “An Evening with” event on the 10th May 2012!

It is set to be an amazing evening of fabulous food, good company, luxurious surroundings, oh, and a big dollop of me!

I’ll be singing some of my, and your, favourite songs from artists like, Micheal Buble, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin…. Plus many more.

Most of my gigs are privately booked events, weddings, corporate etc, so this is a great chance to come and see me do my thing.

2011 was absolutely brilliant! A real packed year, tons of great corporate, charity and private gigs.

It was also a year filled with lots of amazing weddings! (not to mention that me and Mrs Wing conceived our second child!)

Stanley house hosted another fantastic “ladies who lunch” in December. Once again the ladies were treated to champagne and shopping before taking there seats for a fabulous dinner.

I love singing at these events, there’s always a great atmosphere! I was on hand to help host the event and sing a few songs during dinner, it’s a dream gig, whats better than singing to a bunch elegant ladies after they have had a few glasses of bubbly, its always good fun.

Then after dinner it was my pleasure to announce the lovely Anne Diamond, and she didn’t disappoint! Her speech was absolutely fantastic and had all the girls gripped on her every word, she shared some great stories with us.

Here i am guys, just arrived back after a 7 hour drive from a wedding in Aberdeen, then straight into the Rock FM’s Christmas Ball, held at the spectacular Preston Guild Hall.. It was great to catch up with Mr Cardle and the rest of the stars that performed at this prestigious event, the line up included, Pixie Lott, Matt Cardle, Tinchy Stryder, Reason 4, plus many more.. However the highlight had to be the legends, Stavros Flatley!! It was my job to get things going at the start of the event, then after my spot it was time to sit back and take in the rest of the acts, and they didn’t disappoint!! A great event that went with a real bang! Big thanks go out to all the team at Rock FM for asking me to sing and for putting on such a great event.. Here is a quick vid of the day…Enjoy

I could’t believe it when i received a call from the legendary Chelsea Norris from Key103 Manchester Radio? I was even more shocked when she asked if i would like to sing at her “Ladies who Lunch” event that she holds every year.. Would i like to sing to a room full of champagne drinking women?? Let me think about this one!! Of course the answer was yes indeedy, and what a party it was! There was a whole host of celeb’s attending including the likes of Coronation Street stars, Shameless stars, the clothes show legend Jeff Banks and of course all the super star radio hosts from one of the country’s finest radio station’s, Key103.. Topping the bill was the awesome Beverly Knight who brought the house down with her energentic fantastic performance.. She was ace!! Chelsea put on a great show at the Ramada Hotel which raised thousands of pounds for a great charity “Cash for Kids”! It was my pleasure to be involved with such a great event, my thanks go out to all the team at Key103 and i look forward to working with them all again…

A great day was had at Stanley House when they hosted another fantastic ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ afternoon. Gloria Hunniford was the star of the day who gave a great speech after dinner documenting her rise to fame. Howard was true to form as usual as he delivered a great performance to kick the afternoon off, 180 ladies stood up singing along as Howard finished on ‘That’s Amore’ was a great sight to see, it certainly got the girls in a great mood for the rest of the day. The next ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ event is featuring the flamboyant ‘Laurence Lowellyn Bowen’ and is already getting booked up quickly. HOWARD sang for 200 ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ at The Stanley House Hotel in Blackburn on March 26, 2009, at a special event featuring Strictly Come Dancing stars, Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag. Anton and Erin provided a dancing spectacular at the five star venue, Lancashire’s only boutique hotel, with a classic showcase of ballroom dances. They danced the Foxtrot, Tango, English Waltz, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep. The event, which sold out within weeks of going on sale, saw guests enjoy an afternoon of pampering – with dancing, shopping and dining the order of the day. After the spectacular dance performance from Anton and Erin, a specially created ‘Spring in Your Step’ cocktail was enjoyed by all. Lancashire fine food suppliers, florists and fashion boutiques set up stalls in three of the hotel’s suites, so guests could shop before lunch, whilst being entertained by Howard with timeless classics like ‘Mr Bo Jangles’ and ‘Come Fly With Me’. Howard was seated at lunch with Anton and Erin and was served a delicious two course meal featuring a seafood and tarragon quiche served with fresh rocket salad and new potatoes. Dessert was a fluffy meringue nest, filled with exotic fruits and served with raspberry coulis. Howard entertained the guests with swing songs as they enjoyed their dessert course, before Anton and the glamorous Erin took to the floor to host a question and answer session. The pair revealed secrets about their dancing partnership and life on the set of one of television’s most popular shows. The event was a huge success and over £2,000 was raised for local charity Self Unlimited, which helps adults with learning difficulties and runs Stanley Grange care home on Roach Road in Salmesbury. ACTRESS Kym Marsh was among more than 200 guests and celebrities who took to the red carpet to celebrate the official opening of Hastings in Lytham on Friday, October 16. The event was a roaring success. Now under new ownership, the recently refurbished eating and drinking house threw a party to remember, with flaming torches at the entrance, canapés from award-winning head chef Warrick Dodds, complimentary champagne flowing, and music all evening from Fleetwood-based swing singing sensation, Howard Wing. Kym, the Warrington based singer and actress of Hear’Say and Coronation Street fame, took time out to pull pints of The Hastings real ale, which was launched on the night and has been created exclusively for Hastings by the head brewer at Lytham Brewery, James Booker.
Kym commented:
“It was great fun to be part of the official opening night with so many people and I enjoyed meeting all the guests. It’s a really stylish venue and Howard’s music definitely gave the evening a top atmosphere.”

Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom played host to a veritable galaxy of stars, as a sell-out crowd enjoyed a show-stopping performance from Howard Wing, Shirley Bassey, and the legendary Ashley Frohlick.
In the Ballroom’s lavish surroundings, Howard put in a characteristically smooth performance that cemented his reputation as the Fylde Coast’s leading entertainer. Shirley was played by Stars In Their Eyes winner Maxine Barry, who has become a famed entertainer in her own right since her TV victory.
Of course, that’s to say nothing of Ashley Frohlick and his band the Empress Dance Band, whose lush musical backdrop brought real big band splendour to the evening. Ashley is no stranger to the swing scene, having played with Frank Sinatra’s band – a real pedigree if ever there was one!
